Why Symmetrista exists
"I have uneven breasts, and like many women, I learned to work around it. I avoided certain clothes. I tried bras with removable pads. I adjusted and readjusted throughout the day. Nothing felt like a real solution. What I wanted was simple: a bra for uneven breasts that came in one piece, stayed in place, and felt like a normal bra to wear."

Merlin's story
The idea of Symmetrista sat in the back of my mind for more than a decade. When I finally shared it with my husband, he found a cup-maker within days, and we began the long process of building what would become Symmetrista.
We prototyped one bra at a time, developed custom moulds, and kept refining the design until the inside could do what women with asymmetry need, without it being a medical-looking workaround.
I still remember wearing one of our early prototypes to a concert in 2018. It was not perfect yet, but for the first time, I could see what Symmetrista could become. I wore that bra until it literally fell apart.
Today, the brand supports women living with asymmetry for many reasons, from lifelong natural asymmetry to the changes that can follow breastfeeding, lumpectomy, mastectomy, and reconstruction.

The Signature Bra was developed through extensive research, measurement, and prototyping so it could work as an everyday bra for women with different forms of asymmetry, including post-surgical asymmetry after lumpectomy or mastectomy with reconstruction.We use a sustainable supply chain wherein our materials are ethically sourced and transported. And as we grow, we aim to minimise our environmental footprint by adopting eco-friendly practices such as recycling our old products and partnering with organisations that help protect our planet.
